Class Action Racing, the California Blokart Club and BT Racing is pleased to announce the 2008 Ivanpah Blokart Open and Rally on the California/ Nevada State line in Primm , Nevada USA. The racing and rally events will be held on Ivanpah dry lake bed , a place rich in the history of land sailing and site of the current land yacht speed record of 116 mph.
Blokarts have sailed and raced here in years past, but this will be the first time blokart has held a dedicated event under its own permit and time frame.
Go to classactionracing.com for registration and a link to book accomodations for overseas travellers, with an 800 number for US residents. Please use the code provided as we have reserved a large block of rooms but the hotel must be able to release any unreserved rooms after the stated deadline.

In addition to a large blokart venue , the area offers lots of additional activites and entertainment, modern conveniences (accomodations within sight of the venue) and a major airport just up the road (about 40 k)
Any person or group interested in a pre event blokart tour of other dry lake beds in the area should contact Mike Moody .
Current plan is Red Lake Arizona and El Mirage California then Ivanpah, followed by a whole days drive to Black Rock Desert Wilderness area in Northern Nevada and/or Bonneville Salt Flats in Wendover, Utah home of many land speed records and "Speed Week" every summer.
