Permissions

We have permission from Limavady Council to use the beach although we do not intend to restrict access for other beach users. This means vehicles may be present on the beach.

Requests

Limavady council are pleased to support gathering such as these but please remember the beach has been booked in the name of kitecrew & blokarters.com. We wish to keep this good working relationship.

Please remember to clean up after yourself. Leave no rubbish on the beach. Bin bags will be provided.

The Plan

The emphasis will be on fun & safe sports.

This is planned to be a social weekend gathering for all land sailors. So if you are a kiter, blokarter, sand yachters or speedsailor this could be the outing of the year for you.

This is a chance to meet up & find out about each other's sports.

•  On the beach 11am – 5 pm both days.

•  Midday both days - Surf Mountain power kite beginners' safety session (approx 1 hour)

•  Overnight camping available at Benone Tourist Complex. (booked separately)

Insurance

Third party insurance cover for is a requirement for using this beach at all times & this weekend is no exception.

Cover from any of the following will be sufficient. IPKSA - BPKA - BLSA - SCD

We have arranged for the IPKSA to be present with application forms. Join up and receive one year's membership with insurance. You are insured once you have paid. (Cheque or cash only)

Blokart insurance

We have just received membership forms from the BLSA . Which means insurance for anyone who blokarts only will be available on the day too.

Please bring 2x passport size photos for each person requiring BLSA insurance.
